Today, we’re thrilled to take you on a virtual journey to the enchanting island of Bali, where we’re currently exploring its treasures and experiencing the magic it has to offer. But before embarking on our enchanting Bali adventure, we decided to add a touch of luxury and intrigue to our journey with a brief stopover in the vibrant city of Dubai. Many of our fellow adventurers had never experienced the dazzling charm of Dubai, so we couldn’t resist the opportunity to introduce them to this glamorous destination.
Golden Dreams in Dubai
One of my favorite spots in Dubai is the famed Gold Souk, a marketplace renowned for its opulent jewelry, precious metals, great
spices and a world of bargains. However, our arrival coincided with the Souk’s closing hours, which could have been a slight disappointment. But we at Tymeless Adventures believe in turning even the smallest setbacks into unforgettable moments.
Our friends, always eager to go the extra mile, arranged for a private bus to pick us up from our hotel. With a touch of magic, they convinced a couple of stores to open their doors after hours, exclusively for our group. It was an extraordinary experience as we wandered through the glittering displays, trying on exquisitely unique pieces while being treated like royalty. Leaving us with priceless memories.
Onward to Bali
After our exciting shopping excursion, we retrieved our treasures and headed straight to Dubai International Airport to catch our flight to Denpasar, Indonesia. The anticipation of our Bali adventure hung in the air as we boarded the plane, knowing that the beauty of the Island of the Gods awaited us.
Welcome to Bali 
Upon our arrival in Bali, we were greeted by the warm tropical breeze and the unique scent of the island. We navigated through the airport with excitement in our hearts, eager to embrace the Balinese culture and landscapes that lay ahead.
As we entered the baggage claim area, there was a flurry of activity as everyone located their luggage, each piece arriving safely to its owner—except for mine. But fear not, dear reader, for that tale deserves a blog aptly titled “Where is my Luggage?” Check it out for a humorous account of my luggage woes.
Nusa: A Remote Paradise
With our luggage situation in the capable hands of the airport staff, we set out on a journey to our remote paradise, Nusa Dua. Our destination was the Nusa Westin Resort, a haven nestled amidst the lush beauty of Bali’s landscapes. As we drove through picturesque villages and verdant landscapes, the sheer natural beauty of the island began to unfold before our eyes.
Our arrival at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua marked the beginning of our Bali adventure. The island’s stunning beauty, the promise of exciting adventures, and the allure of Balinese culture surrounded us. Our hearts were filled with anticipation as we stepped into this tropical paradise, ready to create timeless memories.
Our Bali adventure had officially kicked off, and there was no better way to commence our journey than with a magnificent dinner at The Westin Resort, Nusa Dua. This luxurious resort, nestled on the captivating shores of Bali, set the stage for an unforgettable evening filled with delectable cuisine, mesmerizing live music, and the gentle lull of the ocean waves.

The Westin Resort, Nusa Dua, is a paradise within a paradise. This idyllic haven offers a perfect blend of modern luxury and Balinese charm. Surrounded by lush gardens and the azure waters of the Indian Ocean, the resort provided us with an exquisite backdrop for our evening. We were enveloped in an atmosphere of serenity and elegance from the moment we arrived.
A Culinary Extravaganza
Our evening began with a sumptuous dinner that showcased the rich flavors of Balinese and international 
cuisine. The resort’s culinary team had prepared a feast that delighted our taste buds and introduced us to the culinary wonders of Bali. From fragrant curries to succulent seafood, every dish was a masterpiece.
But the indulgence didn’t stop there. Dessert, a sweet symphony of flavors, left us craving for more. It was an authentic culinary journey that showcased Bali’s culinary diversity and excellence.
Live Music by the Beach 
As we enjoyed our dinner, a live band serenaded us with melodies that tugged at our heartstrings. Their music filled the air, creating an enchanting ambience that perfectly complemented the starlit night and the gentle rustling of palm leaves.
The setting was magical, with the beach just a stone’s throw away. The soft, powdery sand beneath our feet and the rhythmic sound of the waves crashing against the shore added an extra enchantment to the evening. It was a moment where time seemed to stand still, and we found ourselves lost in the music and the beauty of Bali’s coastline.
A Night to Remember
Our first evening at The Westin Resort, Nusa Dua, was a memorable night. It set the tone for the luxury and adventure that awaited us on our Bali journey. As we bid adieu to the live band and the beach, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the experiences ahead.
